Reviews

I think it made the case pretty well, but transitioned to a description of a utopia fairly quickly in what seemed like a rush overview of alternatives at the end. I can imagine how we got there, but it felt a bit out of place.

Mostly, the stories of what police and prisons do seems very different from what people feel the value is they get from them and this book does a good job of showing that.
